Part 2:
Back in Salem Chelsea’s trial has started. When the judge finds out that Hope was not informed he smells something fishy and puts the trial on hold. He asks Bo why his wife is not present with him. Bo tells him that he and hit wife are in the middle of a divorce. The judge looks at Bo sitting next to Chelsea and his arm around her and then at the prosecutors side with Caroline, Shawn, Julie, Doug, and the rest of the Brady/Williams clan on that side and we can tell what the judge is thinking. He then says very calmly to Bo “Mr. Brady, this trial is not only about your daughter but about your son. His mother should be here… legally MUST be here. If you or your daughter were led to believe that the absence of Hope Brady’s testimony would somehow help your daughter’s case you were mistaken. I will not move forward on this case until all witnesses are present. That includes Hope Brady and Patrick Lockhart. And seeing as this case has been put off long enough, and since obviously there is some motivation needed to bring all parties involved together… I hereby am revoking Chelsea Benson’s bail. She will remain in the Salem County Jail from now until the end of her trial.” Frankie jumps to his feet to object but the judge slams down his gavel telling them his decision is final.
Before they can finish talking to bailiffs come over and take
Bo decides to take off to
Hope:
Meanwhile Hope is hot on Patrick’s tail. While she is on the way Shawn calls her and tells her about the trial and that Bo is on his way to find her to try and bring her back. Hope is furious that Bo didn’t tell her about the trial date change, when Shawn asks her if she isn’t happy that
Hope asks Shawn about Bo and Shawn tells him that he is not himself, that he is not “Dad” anymore and is dead to him. Hope tells Shawn not to talk that way about his father. That life is to short of hate. Shawn says that he just feels something is… off. Hope agrees that she has had a weird feeling in her gut for a long time now and is not sure what it means. Shawn about her and Patrick. She tells him that she does care about Patrick and feels like that could turn into more in time, but isn’t sure it would be fair to Patrick when she still loves Bo so much. Shawn tells her to forget about Dad and move on, if Patrick is good to her then to be with him.
Hope tells Shawn that she has to take care of something but will be home by the trial date and to keep an eye on things for her. She promises he will.
Back to Patrick:
Patrick takes ‘Bo’ to a place he use to live in and still owns in the area and ponders what to do. The ‘Bo’ is still unconscious. Patrick paces around wondering what to do. He finally calls Mimi and asks how things are. He hints around trying to find out if she has seen her father in law lately. When Mimi says that yes she has as they all had dinner the night before Patrick gets even more confused. He hangs up saying out loud to the unconscious man “If Bo is in
Later Patrick sits staring at him and wondering. Just then ‘Bo’ starts to stir. Patrick goes over too him and ‘Bo’ opens his eyes. Bo says “Where am I? What happened?” Patrick says “hey… look at me. Do you know who I am?” Bo looks Patrick over he is still groggy but says shacking his head “No.” Patrick then asks, “Do you know who you are? What is your name?” Bo looks at him and says “My… my name is Bo Brady... Please, I need your help.. my wife is in terrible danger.”
Patrick looks at Bo startled. He asks, “Who is your wife?” Bo a lot more awake now starts to struggle realizing he’s restrained (Patrick handcuffed him up just in case). “Why am I tied up? Who are you? Where is Stefano DiMera?! Are you one of his men!?” Patrick tries to get him to calm down. “Whoa, slow down. Look… I don’t know how to tell you this but.. you can’t be Bo Brady.” ‘Bo’ says “What are you talking about?!” Patrick, “Listen… My name is Patrick Lockhart, I found you unconscious in a secret farcicality down in the village. I brought you here for one reason and that is because I was sent to kill you and I want to know why. Now, I’ll answer your questions and you will answer mine but we are going to have to trust each other a little bit. If you don’t try to leave or attack me then I won’t hurt you either. I’m just as confused as you are.” Seeing Bo’s expression he says “… well almost as confused as you are. So deal? We play nice for the time being?” Bo look at him for a moment then says “Fine. Deal… for the moment.”
Patrick releases him and explains that he use to be a hitman/problem solver for some powerful men. 12 to be exact. He tells Bo that Stefano was one of them and after him Tony inherited his seat. Alex was one too… Patrick pauses to see if Bo reacts to the name but he doesn’t so Patrick continues. He explains to Bo that he had a partner, but that the two of them had a falling out over a woman they both loved. The woman chose him (Patrick) and that drove a wedge between he and his partner. The partner, Clancy, was so angry that he set out to gain revenge on Patrick… but missed his mark and killed
Bo tells him, “No. I don’t even know who North is. But if he is a friend of Stefano DiMera’s then I’m sure he’s no friend of mine.” Patrick tells him “They were definitely not friends. Both were part of the 12, both had similar interests, methods, and were crazy, but they were not friends. They were rivals.” Bo asks him “why do YOU think North wanted me dead?” Patrick looks on at him with a hesitant look… not sure how much to tell him. He sighs “I’m not sure yet.” Bo then asks him after a long pause…. “You said I couldn’t be Bo Brady… why?” Patrick looks back at him and then says, “Because… Bo Brady is in
Bo has returned from the island and tells Billie about missing Hope and not having any idea now where she is. He says he has called and called her but with no answer. Billie tells him not to worry, that Hope will come back that Frankie told her the judge laid in to him and the DA and that she is sure the DA has found Hope and Patrick and are telling them to get back here. Bo gets livid at the name of Patrick. He starts in his rant about him and how he can’t believe he’s loosing another woman to him. Billie stops him and asks him what he is talking about. Bo pauses and not then says… “I meant you. You know I didn’t like you dating him.” Billie says “But you were with Hope… or were you wanting me back even then?” Bo just sits down and says “I don’t know… I don’t know what I’m saying… all I mean is that guy is bad news to any woman’s life he enters.” Billie sits down next to him and asks “Bo, what is bothering you more? Loosing Hope? Or loosing her to Patrick?” Bo just looks at her and then kisses her “Hope’s made her choice… so have I.” The two kiss until the phone rings. Bo answers it is Hope.
Hope says, “Bo it’s me. I heard about the trial and I know the new date. I’m letting you know this so you can stop trying to find me. I will be back in town in time.” Bo looking desperate and confused… “Fancy Face!” Hope, “No Bo… Hope, not Fancy Face, not any more.” Bo “Hope… we need to see each other. You can’t be with Patrick, he’s dangerous. I never wanted the divorce! I don’t know why you are doing this!” Hope looks confused says “Me?! YOU emailed me accepting the divorce. YOU slept with Billie. YOU lied. YOU betrayed me! And YOU have no say in who I date and the divorce WILL happen.” She is in tears now. “Stay… stay away from me Bo. I will see you at the trial and then that’s it. I never want to see you again. I have tried for years Bo to fight for you to be forgiving… but you pushed me too far. I can’t do this any more Bo… no matter how much it hurts.” Bo tries to speak but she hangs up.
Bo turns to Billie and tells her what Hope said. He says he never emailed Hope agreeing to the divorce and doesn’t know what she’s talking about. And he says “Hope only knows about us (he and Billie) because I told her… recently!” How can she cite that as ground for divorce. Billie looks guilty but doesn’t say anything. She asks him why he is fighting for Hope still when he just said he had made his choice and kissed her. He looks at her confused and says he doesn’t know. He suggests that fighting for Hope, being with Hope has been is defining factor for so long that doing so is a hard habit to break. She doesn’t look too convinced but only confused.
