Part 9:

Patrick and Bo2:

Patrick assures Bo they will be out of here in no time. He takes out his cell phone in a sly manner incase they are being watched and looks at the screen he sees that he has no signal and says  “okay… maybe not.” Bo2 asks what and Patrick whispers to him that he has a GPS in his phone and if he had a signal he knows they would be found but he doesn’t so they are on their own for the moment. He guesses they must be underground. Bo2 walks the perimeter of the room sliding his hand around the door looking for a way to open it.  He says they need to get out of here and fast, that he isn’t staying away from his family one minute longer then he has too. Patrick just say solemnly “Yeah.” Bo2 turns around and asks him in a quiet voice. “Please, you have to tell me what’s been going on while I’ve been gone.” Patrick looks at him and you can tell he is conflicted but feels bad for Bo2. He says, “Look… I believe you are Bo Brady. But, there is a man in Salem who feels the same way.” Bo starts to interject but Patrick stops him. “Like I said I believe you. I don’t think North would have me just kill off a double of Bo. But the fact of the matter is that I have no proof you are Bo. And what if I am wrong? What if you aren’t Bo? Should I really be filling you, and anyone who is listening to us talk, about what’s been going on in Salem?”

Bo2 looks frustrated because he knows Patrick is right. But he says “I know you are right. But I can’t prove who I am while I am in here. You and I are going to have to trust each other and work together. The only place where I can prove who I am is Salem. And I can’t walk in there clueless. Please… give me something? At least tell me why my son wouldn’t talk to me and why Billie Reed is answering my phone!?” Patrick looks sick at heart. He says “I… I don’t know where I would even start…. Your family is… very different then what you probably remember. The truth is I don’t know all the details of your life. I have only been in Salem a short time. But… Hope and you… or I mean Hope and the Bo in Salem… I don’t know how to tell you this… you two are in the middle of a divorce.”

Bo recoils, “That’s impossible… there is nothing that Hope and I couldn’t get through together.” Patrick says “I believe you… which is why I believe you and not the Bo in Salem, is the real deal. But you… I mean HE… betrayed Hope. You see...” Patrick pauses and we can see he is seriously not wanting to be the one to tell Bo all this…”You son was killed, Bo… and you covered it up… you lied to Hope about it, let Billie take the blame. And then… not more then a few days later you were in Billie’s bed, and Hope saw it all.”  Bo stands there dumbfounded, horrified, confused. He stammers, “But… I talked to Shawn… he is alive.“ Patrick says, “I’m not talking about Shawn.” Bo2 sinks to the floor. Patrick sits down next to him and says “It gets worse.”

Salem:

Bo1 sits up as Billie asks if he is alright. He says he is fine and asks how she found him. She tells him she went out looking for him after his weird phone call. He asks what she’s talking about and she explains. He says he made no such call. She looks confused but then says “you hit your head… maybe you just forgot.” She helps him up and looks over his bike and sees it is not badly damaged and roadworthy. She tells him to take the car back and she’ll take the bike. She says she will meet him at home. He agrees and they take off.

Bo however detours and says to himself, “First I have to get some help… from the last person I want to ask for it.”

We later see Kate in her office as Bo1 comes in asking if she has a moment. Kate is surprised to see him but welcomes him in. She says she tried to call Chelsea but was told he is not letting her get calls. She seems miffed. He says he has a favor to ask. Kate looks dubious like he is about to ask her to back off or something but instead he says, “I need your help in getting Chelsea out of jail.” Kate’s jaw drops open, “what?” she asks. He says calmly, “You heard me. I know you have ways… ways I don’t approve of but they seem to work. I want Chelsea out of jail today and home with me.” Kate is still in shock. “Bo… YOU are asking ME for help?... Why?” Bo says, “Because… she is my daughter and the only family I have left. I won’t have her in jail or have her do anything to jeopardize our future.” Kate says, “Well of course you don’t have to convince me of that.” Bo turns to leave and says, “Good. Thanks.” We can tell he is no Kate fan but wants her help. Kate stops him, “Wait!” she says, “What about Billie… what are your intentions where she is concerned.” Bo1 looks down and then at Kate and says, “I already told you… I want a family.” With that he leaves and Kate looks like the cat who ate the canary.

Salem Jail:

Chelsea is sitting in her cell when a guard comes in. He unlocks the door and says, “Okay… time to go.” Chelsea looks confused and ask what’s going on. He tells her, “The judge has reinstated your bail.” Chelsea stammers and says “but.. but…” The guard hauls her out saying he doesn’t have all day and that she has a call waiting. He takes her to an empty room with a phone and says her call is on line 3 and shuts the door. Chelsea stares at the phone and the blinking light for a moment… then picks it up and hits the line 3 button and says nervously “hello?”

Brady House:

Billie is home when there is a knock on the door she yells to it as she goes to open it. “It’s about time, Bo! You forget your key!?” She opens the door to find Chelsea standing there. She is stunned and takes her in her arms asking what on earth she is doing there?! Chelsea tells her that the judge decided he was being too harsh and let her out on bail again. We can tell she is keeping something back but Billie doesn’t question it. She just hugs her and tells her she is happy she is home.

Bo1 comes in later and is stunned to see her there saying “that was fast!” When questioned he just jokes he figured the judge would change his mind but not so soon. He hugs her and Billie goes to get them something to drink. She says, “Dad… I thought about what you said. You are right… we deserve to be a family.” She smiles at him and goes to join Billie in the kitchen. Bo1 sighs a relief and calls Kate. He tells her thank you and that he didn’t know how fast she could work. She is confused and says “What are you talking about?” Bo says, “Getting the judge to change his mind… the only other person I know who could work that fast is Victor… I’m impressed even if I don’t approve. But thank you. It is good to have Chelsea out of that place and home.” Kate is stunned and stammers… “I… I mean yes… I’m glad she’s home. Now you all can be a family again.” They hang up and Kate says to herself, “I don’t know who got her out but I’m not one to look a gift horse in the mouth. Bo wants to believe I helped him… fine… now he owes me one.”

Back at the Brady house Billie is rambling on and on about how amazing it is the judge changed his mind and how happy she is to have Chelsea home. Chelsea looks sick but forces a smile and voices agreement. We then get the flash on the screen and a flashback of Chelsea on the phone.

Flashback:

Chelsea says “hello?” We hear a woman’s voice on the other end and then the scene flashes over to L on the other end of the line. She says coolly, “Hello Chelsea,” Chelsea says in a frightened voice “who is this?” L says, “You can call me L… I’m sure your father has mentioned me to you.” Chelsea stammers, “n… no… my father hasn’t…” L cuts her off, “I am not talking about Bo Brady, Chelsea… I am talking about the man who raised you. The man you where moments ago thinking of betraying. After all he did for you, all he told you, I expected more of you.” Through all this L never raises her voice, she sounds like a mother gently chastising her child… chilling. Chelsea is shivering in fear, “yes… he, he mentioned you.” L says, “Good that will save us some time. Listen carefully, I want you to finish what you started Chelsea. You owe it to him. He wanted you to be happy, to have your family back that was stolen from you.” Chelsea pleads, “But… he was wrong about Hope…she’s not what he said. I can’t…” L shushes her, “Calm down, dear … pay attention. Do not get distracted. Finish your job and you will have your family, fail and jail will be the least of your worries. Goodbye, dear. Do not give me reason to have to contact you again. I will be watching.” She hangs up… Chelsea is as white as a ghost.

Flashback ends and she is standing in the kitchen still with Billie, she just mutters, “I’m in over my head.”
