Part 11:
Hope:
Hope has reached the building where Patrick was sent by Alex (where we know Bo2 was found). She snoops around and is able to break in. The place is deserted. She wonders around the rooms looking for any clues. When she enters the room where Patrick found Bo she unknowingly trips and alarm (we see a red light go on).
Elsewhere one of L’s men rushes in to her office and turns on her monitor and types in a code saying “Madam you’re going to want to see this.” And the monitor flicks on we see Hope walking around in the building. L leans in closer and smiles saying “I don’t believe it…she’s here.” The man asks if they should send men over to apprehend her. L, still mesmerized by Hope on the screen says “No… wait…actually… who do I have around who is expendable?” The man looks confused and then lists a couple names. L says, “Good! Send them over there with instructions to capture but NOT kill. I want to see if HOPE really is what I think she is.”
Back at the building Hope has a weird expression on her face and mutters to herself, “something… something is odd here… why is this of all places making me think of Bo.” She shakes it off and continues her search. In a near by room she finds a computer and flips it on. She sits down and starts digging.
L is watching and says “okay… can’t let you be doing that, my dear.” L hits a buzzer on her desk and the man from before comes in. He says “We sent men over they should be there soon.” L says, “Not soon enough, Derrick… have David log in to our remote network and erase the hard drive in that building.” Derrick asks “But I thought those computers were impossible to break into?” L just says “Yes… unless you are someone with the know how… and I’m willing to bet SHE is.” L points to Hope on the screen. Derrick nodes and leaves. L turns back to her monitor.
Hope is typing away on the computer and a window comes up with a prompt to enter a code. Hope hesitates and says to herself “I recognize this?” We see a brief flash of Hope in a black outfit at another similar computer with the same window open typing in a code. Back to present Hope types in the code and is presented with a screen with tons of folders. She gasps “Ooh my!” She is reading them and we start to see them disappear she says to herself “They’re being erased!” She jumps up and looks around and finds a DVD she grabs it and puts it in the drive and starts frantically dragging files to it to burn. She then hits burn and sits back to wait for it and then says… “Wait… they would only be being erased if someone knew I was here… and that means…” She looks around and sees the camera near the ceiling.
L sits at her desk and says “that’s right… I’m watching you.”
Hope jumps up and pulls out her gun, she notes how much longer the burn has to go and says to herself, “I’m not leaving without that disk.” She barricades the door. She sees a big metal cabinet and goes to try and move it, the door of it pops open and she looks inside. In it she notices a box that reads: RX: 4-815-16 ‘Synaptic Release and Reversal Serum’ she takes it out and looks inside. In it are two vials of clear solution and a hypodermic needle. She then hears a noise of people entering the building behind the barricade door. She puts the box in her bag and turns back to the computer the disk is almost done. She hears pounding on the door and starts looking around the room for another exit. There isn’t one. She looks up and notices an air duct. Hope takes her gun out and shoots out the camera. Next scene we see the air duct open and the men burst in.
They look around and we hear L’s voice yell over one of their ear pieces say, “She went up the air duct!” The men glance up and one jumps on the desk and goes after Hope as the other leaves the room saying he will go to the roof. L curses under her breath and mutters, “No wonder you two are expendable.”
After the men have left we see the empty room Hope was in and then suddenly from the locker where the box with the drug was in Hope climbs out and runs out of the room (she had hidden there instead of the air duct).
L sees Hope escaping down a hallway and just smiles; Derrick is standing by her and asks if she isn’t going to alert the men. L says, “No, they may be expendable but bodies would only complicate matters if it can be avoided.” She smiles, “Besides, this was more valuable then I could have hoped for. We now know for sure that Hope still carries the knowledge Gina did. And that my friend is something worth being patient for.” She stands turning off her monitor. “Let her go and tell Mason to get the prisoners ready… we are leaving for
Bo1 is goes in to see Frankie and tells him he wants him to put the divorce through, that he isn’t going to contest it. Frankie is shocked and asks Bo1 what changed his mind. Bo1 says he knows he has lost Hope and he is setting her free. She wants to move on and so does he. Frankie says that Bo should talk with Hope first, wait until the trial is over. He tells him that neither he nor Hope is in a situation where they should be making these kinds of huge decisions. Bo1 is getting annoyed he rants, “She left me for Lockhart! All I have ever wanted was a family. I’m not going to loose the only one I have left and that is Billie and Chelsea!” Frankie looks like he is talking to a stranger. He says, “Bo… there are few things you can count on in this world… but I always thought you and Hope were one of them. You have always found your way back to each other. This is wrong. You and her bel…” Bo1 cuts him off, “I’m tired of people telling me who I belong with and what I should do. I’m tired being controlled. I just want my life back together.” He stands up, “File the paperwork I’ve made my choice.” With that he leaves with Frankie looking distraught.
